The course develops a general overview of the main markets where assets such as bonds, futures, commodities, stocks, options, swaps, among others, are traded. An introductory overview of the most used financial products is given, the applied nature of each product is highlighted, both for hedging and for speculation or arbitration. The course reviews the characteristics of bonds, forwards, swaps and options. Without losing the particularity of each instrument, the concepts, interpretation and applicability are generalized through examples and cases.
