The Corporate Finance course has been designed from a theoretical financial perspective that involves postgraduate and advanced level graduate courses. It delves into the theoretical foundations of the topics covered by standard courses in corporate finance in order to provide the participant with solid tools that allow them to make decisions in non-standard situations or in situations of formal analysis.
This first course (Part 1) considers the first topics in financial theory such as the foundation of value, optimal capital structure, how agency costs and information asymmetry affect the value of firms, to finally present the policy implications. payment to shareholders under the various forms that it may take (dividends, or payment in shares).
